Helpful Oven Temperature Guide

Got the Oven Temperature Guide. Very useful. My projects are baking better now. Simple information, well presented.

Good guide for beginners

I picked up the Polymer Clay Basics tutorial last week. It was easy to follow and really helped me get started. I had some old clay lying around so I finally put it to use. Took a few tries to get it right but the instructions were clear.

Mastering Techniques review

I bought the Mastering Techniques tutorial and it really expanded what I can do with clay. The video quality was good and the explanations were pretty thorough. I did find a few parts moved a bit fast, so I had to rewind a couple of times to catch everything. Overall though, it's a solid resource. Accessing it after purchase was straightforward, which is always nice. My finished pieces look much more professional now.

Are there ever sales on the course bundles? I'm looking to grab a few but trying to save a little if possible.

N Noor Okafor 1 month ago
Definitely! They often have bundle discounts already, but around Black Friday or course launches, you can sometimes snag even more off. Keep an eye on the newsletter.

I think they always have some kind of multi-tutorial discount automatically applied. You usually don't need a code for those, just add a few to your cart.

Hey, wondering if these tutorials are good for someone just starting out with polymer clay? I've never really done much more than basic stuff.

R Raj D. 1 month ago
Yeah, totally. I just got into clay last year and their Polymer Clay Basics one was super helpful. They break things down really well.

They have a bunch of beginner-friendly stuff. Just look for the 'Basics' or 'Understanding Materials' type courses. Ginger explains everything from the ground up.

How do these compare to Polymer Clay Tutor or some of the Sculpey stuff? Like, is it worth investing here?

D Derek V. 1 month ago
I've tried a few different places. What I like about Blue Bottle Tree is the science-based approach. It feels more in-depth than just 'do this, then do that.' Less trial and error, more understanding why things work.

They do really detailed brand comparisons, which is awesome, so you can see if the specific clay you like is covered. It's more technical and less purely artistic than some others, if that makes sense.

I'm a student, is there any kind of discount for us? Trying to learn without breaking the bank.

A Anna 1 month ago
I remember seeing something about a student discount in their FAQs or somewhere. It might be worth emailing them to ask, afaik it's not always advertised upfront.

Yeah, I think they do have one! It's usually a small percentage but every bit helps. Check their coupon policy or send them a quick message through the site.
